Request for Marriage Contract Creation:
This service allows the creation of an electronic marriage contract, starting from entering the beneficiary’s and all parties’ information, submitting the request, obtaining approval from all parties, and then completing the certification by the marriage officiant to issue the marriage contract document.
Service Requirements:
- Medical examination (for Saudi nationals only).
- Provision of supporting documents according to the electronic service form requirements.
- Provide the electronic divorce document number if the wife is divorced, or a copy of the paper divorce deed.
- If the woman’s husband is deceased, provide the deceased’s heirs’ documentation number if electronic, or a copy of the paper heirs’ deed.
- Provide information for all parties in the marriage contract (husband, wife, wife’s guardian or their representatives, and two witnesses).
- All parties and witnesses must be over 18 years old. If the husband or wife is under 18, a court-issued early marriage approval certificate is required.
- A verified mobile number on Absher for all parties.
- The wife’s guardian must follow the legal guardianship sequence, with proof of any transfer of guardianship from the father to another person.
- A valid power of attorney if the applicant is acting as a representative, or attach an external notarized authorization.
- Documents issued outside Saudi Arabia must be certified by the Ministry of Justice, and external authorizations must be verified; if verification fails, attach the authorization with the request.
